General Visiting

Directions and Parking

  • Visiting hours are held daily from 9 a.m. through 10 p.m.
  • General visiting on the Bosley Housing Units, excluding 2R, shall be permitted seven (7) days per week, including Mondays and Wednesdays.
  • General visiting is not permitted in the Kenilworth Visiting area on Monday and Wednesday mornings or evenings from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and 9 to 10 p.m.
  • Inmates housed in the Kenilworth Diagnostic Unit will not receive visiting privileges until transferred to general population.
  • Inmates are permitted three 30-minute visits per week.
  • Visitors must sign in 15 minutes prior to the scheduled visit.
  • Visits will be 30 minutes in length.
  • Visitors are required to have valid photo identification issued by a federal, state, or local government agency.  Persons who cannot be positively identified may not visit.
  • Kenilworth housing units are:  2 G/H, 3 A/B, 3 C/D, 3 G/H, 4 A/B, 4 C/D, 4E/F, and 4 G/H
  • Bosley housing units are: 2Q, 2S, 2V, 3P, 3Q, 3S, 3T, 3V, 4P, 4S, 4T, and 4V

Q. How can I find out if an inmate has visiting privileges?

A. Please call our security desk at 410-512-3222 or 410-512-3223 for information on whether this inmate has visiting privileges.

Q. How many people can visit an inmate at one time?

A. A maximum of two (2) children and two (2) adults, or three (3) children and one adult are permitted per visit. For additional information please go to the link entitled Visiting Information. 

Q. What are the times I can visit my daughter?

A. See General Visiting listed above or call our security staff at 410-512-3222 or 410-512-3223 for specific information.

Q. I am an attorney and would like to have a contact visit with my client. I am bringing my paralegal assistant and would like to bring a laptop computer to take down my client's information? Can this be arranged?

A. Please call the Shift Commander’s office at 410-512-3305 at least 48 hours in advance for special contact visit requests.
