Meetings and Events

The Office of Communications requires all meetings and events to be posted to the County or agency calendars in Drupal.

Supplemental flyers, graphic posters or brochures will only be included as links and will not be hosted on the Baltimore County Government website, per our PDF policy. 

If a Coordinator or Content Contributor also wants their meetings and events to appear on their agency webpages, they can be added, as needed.

PUBLIC NOTICES

A public notice is notice given to constituents regarding certain types of legal proceedings, such as meetings or hearings. Some examples of meetings that would require a public notice are:

  • Boards and commissions meetings
  • Administrative hearings
  • Open public meetings
  • Upcoming work in the community that requires community input

These types of meetings must be included in the public notices calendar.

The training documents(link is external) work best when downloaded, printed and used as a companion while going through the recorded training. It is also helpful when kept on hand for reference while learning the process.
