Frequency of Content Updates

It is the responsibility of each agency to ensure its content is timely and relevant. It is recommended that all public-facing Baltimore County webpages, documents and images are reviewed and updated four times per year. However; content is required to be reviewed and updated by the accountable agency at least once per year.

Web Services will audit all webpages twice annually. Any pages that have not been updated in the past 12 months, including associated images and documents will be identified and flagged for archiving. The agency’s Web Coordinator will be notified and asked to remediate all out-of-date pages.

If pages are not updated before the next audit, the pages will be archived.
