The Mobile Career Center (MCC) is a part of the County’s robust Economic and Workforce Development System and aims to meet job seekers where they are to support them on their workforce journey. We work in conjunction with the Career Centers to connect community members to training and skills-development opportunities, among other supportive services.

Features and Services

The MCC features:

  • High-speed internet access
  • Wi-Fi hotspot
  • 16 computer stations
  • Printer
  • ADA accessible workstation

The MCC can offer the following services to job seekers:

  • Career consultation
  • Résumé and cover letter tips
  • Interview techniques and practice
  • Job development assistance
  • Reference and resource library
  • Information on support services
  • …and more!

Community Partners

The MCC supports various community events and initiatives in collaborative partnerships with employers, other government agencies, and community and faith-based organizations.

We are able to provide the following services to community partners:

  • Recruitment events
  • Pre-employment screenings
  • Professional development and training workshops

To request the MCC at your event, please complete the Agency Participation Form and email the completed form to bcoworks@baltimorecountymd.gov. We require advance notice of four weeks for requests but we can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Senior Planet Computer Essentials (AARP Curriculum)
  • Tuesday April 30, 2024 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
  • Cove Point
  • This ten-week course designed for senior adults covers the essentials of how to use the basic functions of a personal computer, how to navigate the internet, and how to send and receive email. By the end of the course, you will have a foundation for using a computer and the internet to enrich your life. 

    Note: This course is designed for senior adults who have never used a computer or have very little experience and want a solid introduction.
