Supplier Diversity

Minority and Women Business Enterprises

Baltimore County has made it a priority to encourage the growth and expansion of minority and women-owned businesses, and ensure that our contractor pool accurately reflects the communities we serve. Our goal of participation of those businesses on all County contracts is 15 percent. This is a serious goal and another example of our ongoing effort to ensure that every individual has the chance to own a successful business.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprises

Baltimore County provides disadvantaged businesses equal opportunity to receive and participate in U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA)-assisted contracts.

Small Business Purchase Program

Baltimore County's Small Business Purchasing Program is a race and gender neutral program designed to provide prime contracting opportunities to small businesses by breaking down solicitations into tiers on a case-by-case basis.
