Senior Centers
Closed
Out of an abundance of caution, activities at Baltimore County Senior Centers are suspended until further notice.
Department Policy
It is the policy of the Baltimore County Department of Aging to open and fully operate its programs as scheduled. The effects of severe weather and concern for the safety of our constituents may, however, lead us to close centers, CountyRide, and other services or programs. When this or closing for any other reason occurs, media announcements regarding closures or late openings will only be made on WBAL Radio, 1090 AM, WBAL-TV 11 and WJZ-TV 13.
If the inclement weather announcement indicates senior centers are opening on a two-hour delay, they will open at 10:30 a.m.
Information on County government closings, early dismissal or late openings will also be published on the Baltimore County website.
Note: Baltimore County Senior Centers are not announced with the list of schools. They are included in the list of other closings which WBAL makes at approximately 20 minutes after the hour and again at 10 minutes before the hour.
