Senior Craft Gallery

The Senior Craft Gallery will reopen on Monday, August 16 at 10 a.m. Baltimore County craftspersons aged 55 and older may consign their handiwork to the Baltimore County Senior Craft Gallery. Senior Craft Gallery is located in the former Loch Raven Elementary School at 1801 Glen Keith Boulevard in the Towson-Parkville area. Consignees set their own prices on each item and the Gallery adds 25 percent to cover operating costs.

The purpose of the Senior Craft Gallery is to:

  • Provide a volunteer-led consignment outlet for the sale of art and handcrafts produced by senior adults in Baltimore County.
  • Assist the Baltimore County Department of Aging by promoting the awareness of the abilities and talents of senior adults.

Handcrafted items include: knitted and crocheted sweaters, dolls and teddy bears, wooden furniture, needlecrafts, ceramic wares, children's clothing and toys. Themed items for the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens are also available at affordable prices.

The public is invited to visit the Craft Gallery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. until noon on the first and third Saturdays.

All consignees are encouraged to volunteer their time working in the Gallery or attending craft fairs or bazaars to sell Gallery items.
