Inspection Scheduling - The Inspection Connection
What is the 'Inspection Connection'?
Use the 'Inspection Connection' to schedule, reschedule, cancel, and inquire about an inspection for your building, electrical, or plumbing permit. All you need is a permit number.
The Inspection Connection also is available through a touch-tone telephone at 410-887-4638. To use the telephone system, you will need a permit number and a 3-digit inspection code.
If you want to inquire about or schedule multiple inspections or permits, we recommend that you use the web.
Scheduling Deadlines
To schedule an inspection, enter your request either by telephone or the web by 8 p.m. the prior business day.
Cancel / Reschedule
To cancel or reschedule, enter your request by 5 a.m. the day of the inspection.
Did you miss the deadline to cancel or reschedule through Inspection Connection? To cancel or reschedule on the same day after 5 a.m.:
- For building inspections, call 410-887-3953
- For electrical inspections, call 410-887-3960
- For plumbing inspections, call 410-887-3620
