Rocky Point Beach and Park
Park Hours: The park is open year round for fishing, boating and picnicking from sunrise to sunset.
Beach Hours: Swimming is allowed at the beach, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., when lifeguards are on duty. Restrooms are unlocked during beach season when staff are on duty.
2021 Pavilion and Picnic Grove Reservations: Currently, rental requests are not being accepted. Check back beginning Monday, May 3, for an updated status.
Admission rates apply Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Welcome to Rocky Point Beach and Park. Since 1969, Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks has owned and operated this 375-acre park. Located at the mouth of Back and Middle Rivers, it boasts an expansive view of the Chesapeake Bay, Hart-Miller Island and Craighill Light and one of the nicest beaches on the upper Chesapeake.
Hart-Miller Island is a Maryland State Park accessible only by personal boat. The island is approximately two miles from Rocky Point Park. For more information on Hart-Miller Island please call 410-592-2897 or the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
