Music in the Woods
The Department of Recreation and Parks will host Music in the Woods, in partnership with Oregon Ridge Nature Center Council, on Saturday, June 7, at 2 p.m. This music-based festival will be held at Oregon Ridge Nature Center, 13555 Beaver Dam Road, Cockeysville, Maryland 21030, and will include activities, vendors and exhibitors.
Drag Bingo and Brunch
The Department of Recreation and Parks will host Drag Bingo and Brunch, on Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m., at Holt Park and Center for the Arts, 34 Elmont Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21206, to celebrate Pride Month. This celebration will include drag queen performances, bingo, giveaways and other activities.
Juneteenth Celebration
The Department of Recreation and Parks will host a Juneteenth Celebration, on Thursday, June 19, at 3 p.m., at Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum, 300 Oella Avenue, Catonsville, Maryland 21228. This celebration will include live music, vendors, exhibitors, historical reenactments and activities.
Hazelwood Skate Park Celebration
The Department of Recreation and Parks will host a celebration, in partnership with the Baltimore County Skateboard Council, on Saturday, June 21, at 10 a.m., at Hazelwood Skate Park, 4924 Hazelwood Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21206. This “grand opening” celebration will include vendors, exhibitors, music and food trucks.
Sewer Project Perry Hall Manor
The Department of Public Works and Transportation is connecting 104 homes in the Perry Hall Manor area in a long-term project to provide sewer service. In 2022, residents saw topographical and environmental surveyors gathering information for the design phase. The surveyor work has been completed for the moment, though more field work is anticipated. Construction is expected to take from one to one and a half years to complete.

Bird River and Bengies Sewershed Repair, Replacement and Rehabilitation
There is more than five miles of small- and large-diameter sewer relining in this project costing $3.6 million. The work is 99 percent complete.

Red House Run Structural Sewer Rehabilitation
Baltimore County has started a major sewer rehabilitation project consisting of almost 15 miles of sewer line in the Overlea and Rosedale areas. Work on the $4.7 million project began in 2022. It's approximately 98 percent toward completion. The Red House Run Structural Sewer Rehabilitation project is part of the County's Consent Decree—the County’s agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to improve the entire sanitary system and eliminate sanitary sewer overflows.

White Marsh West Structural Sewer Rehabilitation
The Department of Public Works and Transportation began work on the White Marsh Structural Sewer Rehabilitation Project. This project includes rehabilitation of 67,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer lines in the western portion of the White Marsh Sewershed. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2026 at a cost of $4.2 million. The project is eight percent complete.

Stemmers Run Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Basin 5 and 6
The Department of Public Works and Transportation has started a sanitary sewer rehabilitation project in the Carney and Perry Hall area. This project includes CIPP lining of 43,000 linear feet of eight- to 24-inch sanitary sewer lines at a cost of $7.5 million. The project is scheduled for completion in the winter of 2027.

Development Meetings include Community Input, Concept Plan, County Review, Development Review Committee and Hearing Officers Hearings.
Zoning Hearings include Special Exceptions, Variances and other issues before the Office of Administrative Hearings of Baltimore County.
