Adoptable Pets
Rooster

He's a nervous boy who wants to be loving and affectionate. He just needs to feel safe first! Rooster would do best in a calm, quiet home, with a family who would give him the love and patience that he needs to come out of his shell. When he starts to warm up he is very accepting of gentle pets. Once he gets even more comfortable he leans in to the love, asks for attention, and prefers to be close to his handlers. He does fairly well on leash and loves a casual sniff walk. Rooster knows some basic commands and gently takes his treat reward from his handlers. He has shown positive interest in some dogs when passing them at the shelter.
Intake Reason: Stray
Additional Info: Due to his overall nervousness her at the shelter, Rooster should not go to a home with young children and she should meet any resident dogs prior to adoption.
