Celebrate Clean Green Baltimore County this Earth Month
Earth Month is the perfect time for residents, business and communities to consider the ways in which they can live and work more sustainably. It is also a great time to look back at our sustainability successes over the past year. Baltimore County has continued working toward its sustainability goals, including implementing many of the recommendations of the County’s Solid Waste Work Group. Through a combination of large, small, public and private commitments toward reducing and diverting waste, increasing access to education and community action, we will reach these goals together.
Since the last time we celebrated Earth Month, we, as a county, have made significant strides to divert waste and improve the resiliency of our local communities; however, there is still room for growth in the coming years. Follow Baltimore County’s journey to elevating education and community action to secure sustainable communities for everyone via the Clean Green Baltimore County Facebook page. Please share and join local Earth Month events and initiatives this April to act on and increase awareness of our collective goals.
Our efforts are successful only with the support of the County’s residents, businesses and institutions. Thank you for supporting our growing initiatives and doing your part as we pursue a cleaner, greener Baltimore County together.
