RESPONSIBILTIES

The Development Plans Review (DPR) Bureau's primary functions include:

  • Reviewing zoning special exceptions, variances and special hearing requests for Public Works issues; as well as BGE, Verizon and other private utility permits for development-related issues
  • Attending concept and development plan conferences, as well as administrative hearings
  • Reviewing and approving landscape and photometric plans, as well as development plans on behalf of the Department of Recreation and Parks for Local Open Space issues
  • Reviewing and approving all development plans, minor subdivisions, infill lots, construction drawings and building permits for compliance with the following:
