A building permit is required for all new piers and pilings.

New piers must be signed off on by the building engineer. The building engineer receives any contests to the pier announcement. Contesting parties may email documentation of divisional lines or other information needed to make a decision to the building engineer at jbryan@baltimorecountyd.gov.
