Executive Order—Friday, May 22

Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski issued Executive Order 2020-006 (PDF), effective Friday, May 22, at 9 a.m. View Interpretive Guidance for Executive Order 2020-006 (PDF). The order announces amendments to the previous order and the following actions to continue to protect residents and communities and minimize the spread of COVID-19:

 

Emergency Response Fund

The Baltimore County COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund will support the County’s efforts to promote public health and support residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are able and want to help, contribute to the fund.

Hotline

The Baltimore County Department of Health has opened a hotline for residents to call with questions or concerns regarding COVID-19. The number is 410-887-3816.

Food Access

County Executive Olszewski and Baltimore County government are working to protect the health, safety and well-being of residents. We will continue to work around the clock to identify additional resources to provide food security for families during this challenging time. Find food resources in Baltimore County.

Free Testing

The Baltimore County Department of Health is operating four clinics to test patients for COVID-19. Testing is by appointment only and will occur at the following sites on the days identified below. Additionally, check your local pharmacy for testing availability. 

The Baltimore County Health Officer has authority to request COVID-19 testing for residents. If you don’t have a healthcare provider or if your provider cannot order your COVID-19 test, call the COVID-19 Hotline at 410-887-3816 for assistance.

Other Resources

All County residents are encouraged to take the proper precautions to reduce the spread of COVID-19, including regular hand-washing and social distancing as appropriate. All residents, and particularly those at high risk, should follow CDC guidance.
