The Office of Housing promotes adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment free from discrimination for low income residents of Baltimore County. The services offered by the Office of Housing help participants strengthen their families, improve their skills, education and economic status, and ultimately reduce their dependence on government programs.

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program helps low-income families or elderly/disabled persons pay their rent.
The Family Self-Sufficiency Program helps HCV participants achieve economic independence.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development–Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) voucher program assists homeless veterans.
