About
Southwest Regional Recreation Center (SWRRC) contains a gymnasium, three basketball courts, a snack area, multiple restrooms, locker rooms, offices and storage rooms. The partial second-story space is a gym and weight room with one basketball court.
Office hours on Monday through Saturday are dependent on permitted activities and may conclude earlier than 10 p.m.
Programs and Rentals

Programs at this site include drop-in volleyball, open walking, senior pickleball and open basketball as the schedule allows. All activities require daily sign-in and a signed Baltimore County waiver.
History
The Southwest Regional Recreation Center was acquired by Baltimore County in 2022 using funding from the State of Maryland Department of Natural Resource's Program Open Space. The property was acquired from Leadership Through Athletics (LTA), which previously operated the building. LTA's mission was to serve Baltimore area youth by providing programs and opportunities that encouraged leadership and values development, enhanced educational experiences, and promoted health and fitness.
