About

Meadow Creek Park is being constructed on a 4-acre property on Church Lane, acquired at a cost of $432,000 in 2020. The park acquisition project was funded by Maryland’s Program Open Space (POS).
The acquisition of the Church Lane Property in 2020 and the 3.9-acre Pahl’s Farm Property in 2021 were intended to help provide more local park sites in the community. Meadow Creek Park will expand park access, as will the future Bedford Road Park Site, which will be situated on the former Pahl’s Farm Property. Baltimore County is dedicated to making sure that all residents have ample nearby access to a diversity of parks and recreational facilities and opportunities.
The park was designed with input from the Pikesville community, who wished for the park to be a green oasis that preserves open space and the Church Meadow Creek. A path system with both accessible hard surface paths and natural paths will provide access to both sides of the creek, allowing visitors to enjoy numerous nature-oriented features and areas.
The park project was completed in fall 2024.

Highlights
Meadow Creek Park will add to the network of numerous parks and greenways along stream valleys in western and northwestern Baltimore County, adjacent to such rivers and streams as the Gwynns Falls, Patapsco River, Dead Run, Dogwood Run, Bens Run, Red Run and more. Such parks provide both environmental and recreational benefits and help to alleviate flooding.
