Replacement pier and New Path Project

The Department of Recreation and Parks has received approval and permits from the required agencies for the in-kind replacement of the existing fishing pier. The project also involves the construction of approximately 400 feet of asphalt trail leading from the existing parking lot to the pier. Due to environmental impact, Baltimore County will be planting 52 trees, 84 shrubs and 294 perennials. All disturbed areas will be stabilized with new grass.

Timeline

Construction is expected to begin in November 2024 and will be completed in time for the 2025 season.
