Single Vehicle Crash in Essex Under Investigation

On Sunday, January 13, 2025 detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Crash Team responded to the area of Route 702 and E. Homberg Avenue, 21221, following reports of a single-vehicle crash. When detectives arrived, they determined the driver sustained serious injuries after the 2006 Subaru Outback struck and overrode a curb before striking a traffic barrier. The operator, 24-year-old Kahron Thompson was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. This case remains part of an open investigation.
