FATAL PEDESTRIAN CRASH UNDER INVESTIGATION

October 19, 2024

On Friday, October 18, 2024, at approximately 9:30 P.M., officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to Liberty Road and Brubar Court, 21207 for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Crash Team later determined that the pedestrian was attempting to cross Liberty Road when he was struck by a 2014 Dodge Ram and a 2017 Nissan Altima. The drivers of both vehicles remained on scene. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene by Baltimore County Fire Department Personnel. The pedestrian has been identified as 52-year-old Jose Rivas. Detectives with the Baltimore County Crash Team ask anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact 410-887-5396.
