FATAL CRASH UNDER INVESTIGATION
January 1, 2025
On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers from the Franklin Precinct responded to a crash on Owings Mills Boulevard near Interstate 795. A preliminary investigation determined a 2013 Ford Expedition was traveling southbound on Owings Mills Boulevard when it left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a retaining wall. The vehicle operator, 27-year-old Jamal Wright was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Police Crash Team continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this case.
