Arrest Made in Parkville Fatal Shooting Investigation

Updated September 9, 2024: 

Baltimore County Police Homicide detectives arrested and charged 44-year-old James Clark with first-degree murder in connection with the homicide that occurred on September 2, 2024. At approximately 4:20 p.m., officers from the Towson Precinct responded to the 8400 block of Leefield Rd., 21234, for a shots fired call. 

When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

James Clark is currently held on a no-bond status at the Baltimore County Detention Center.


 

Original September 3, 2024: 

Baltimore County homicide detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting that occurred on September 2, 2024. At approximately 4:20 p.m., officers from the Towson Precinct responded to the 8400 block of Leefield Rd., 21234, for a shots fired call. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Romy Bogier.

A second adult male was transported to an area hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. 

Detectives ask anyone with information pertinent to the case to contact 410-307-2020.
