Baltimore County Police “Transaction Safe Zones” Available to Residents

October 24, 2024

The Baltimore County Police Department would like to remind residents that each of the Department’s ten precincts has a “Transaction Safe Zone” available for child custody exchanges or in-person transactions related to online purchases.

The Transaction Safe Zone program provides a safe location that is:

  • Open to the public
  • Video recorded at all times
  • Well-lit
  • Marked with visible signage

The designated zones also provide safe spaces for child custody exchanges. Utilizing these secure zones aims to give residents peace of mind while enhancing their safety.
