BALTIMORE COUNTY POLICE HOLD EVENTS RECOGNIZING NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK

April 3, 2025

Since 1981, the Baltimore County Police Department has proudly participated in National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), which aims to remove the barriers that victims of crime may encounter. Every April, the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) leads departments and agencies in their annual observances of NCVRW. In 2025, NCVRW is being observed from April 6 through 12. This year's theme is "KINSHIP Connecting and Healing." We invite our community members to show their support by participating in one of the events listed below. 

 

Precinct 1 - Wilkens

Activity: Honoring Victims, Supporting Survivors Display and Informational Material

Precinct 2 - Woodlawn

Activity: Flower Planting Ceremony: Growing a Future Free of Violence

Date/Time: Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 9 a.m., Church groups are invited to join us.                     

 

Precinct 3 - Franklin 

Activity: Rooted in Hope Tree Planting Ceremony

Precinct 4 - Pikesville            

Activity: Blooms of Remembrance: Honoring Victims Through Unity Flower Planting Ceremony
