Baltimore County Honors Fallen Hero Officer Amy Caprio with Sign Unveiling

December 4, 2024

The Baltimore County Police Department, alongside community leaders and residents, proudly unveiled a sign this morning over Honeygo Boulevard in memory of Baltimore County Police Officer Amy Sorrells Caprio, who was killed in the line of duty on May 21, 2018.

“This sign stands as a tribute to Amy’s selfless service and her enduring legacy in the community,” said Police Chief Robert O. McCullough. “It is a promise to remember, to reflect, and to honor Amy’s sacrifice, as well as those made by each of our fallen heroes here in Baltimore County.”

The unveiling ceremony was attended by Officer Caprio’s family, friends, colleagues, and local officials.
