Arrest Made in Vulnerable Adult Abuse Investigation

August 20, 2024

Detectives with the Baltimore County Homicide Unit have arrested and charged 34-year-old Brittany Brooks following a vulnerable adult abuse investigation. Officers from the Woodlawn Precinct responded to the 1400 block of Kirkwood Rd, 21207, at the request of medics. When officers arrived, they located 56-year-old Antoinette Gray in deplorable conditions. Detectives later determined the victim was in the suspect's care due to her multiple medical ailments. The victim, Ms. Gray was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased on August 15, 2024, due to her injuries. Brooks has been charged with vulnerable adult-related charges and, is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
