Arrest Made in Towson Apartment Fire Investigation

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, homicide detectives arrested and charged 43-year-old Dana Hunt with first-degree murder and arson following a fatal fire. On Monday, August 26, 2024, at approximately 12:05 a.m., officers responded with the Baltimore County Fire Department to an apartment fire in the 8400 block of Greenway Rd, 21286. Fire crews rescued and removed an adult male from the location who was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Dana Hunt is currently held on a no bond status at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
