Arrest Made Following Afternoon Assault

Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department have arrested and charged a 16-year-old suspect in connection to an assault that occurred Wednesday afternoon. At approximately, 2 p.m., on Wednesday, September 19, 2024 officers were notified that a Kenwood High School student had been assaulted in the 500 block of Stemmers Run Rd., 21221. While the assault occurred off school property, the student returned to campus for aid. Medics transported the injured juvenile to an area hospital with what appeared to be a non-life threatening injury. Wednesday evening officers took a 16-year-old suspect into custody and charged the juvenile as an adult. Due to the suspect’s age, the Department will be unable to provide any additional information at this time.
