Homicide Detectives Launch Investigation following Friday Night Shooting

March 30, 2024

On March 29, 2024, at 10:38 p.m., officers from the White Marsh Precinct responded to the 5700 block of Emelia Ave., 21206, for a shots fired call. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Baltimore County Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The victim who was fatally shot has been identified as 27-year-old Jordan Taylor. Detectives will continue to investigate the circumstances around the shooting.

A second victim, unrelated to the altercation and seated in her vehicle nearby, was struck by a stray bullet. That victim is identified as a 20-year-old female whom an acquaintance drove to a local hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Baltimore County Homicide detectives have now taken over this investigation. As they investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident, detectives ask anyone with information pertinent to the case to contact 410-307-2020.
