Homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department have arrested 24-year-old Cameron Murel in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Asia Lilly that occurred Saturday, February 17, 2024, in the 6600 block of Collinsdale Rd., 21234. Murel has been charged with first-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond. On February 17, 2024, at approximately 5:25 a.m., officers from the Towson Precinct responded to the 6600 block of Collinsdale Rd., 21234, for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female seated inside her vehicle with gunshot wounds to the upper body and began to render aid. A Baltimore County paramedic was requested, and despite the officer’s efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased.
