Fatal Hit and Run in Parkville

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, shortly after 9:00 p.m., officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the area of Loch Raven Boulevard and Sayward Avenue, 21234., for a reported motor vehicle collision that involved a pedestrian. When officers arrived, they discovered 33-year-old James McCoy had been struck by a Jeep Liberty traveling northbound on Loch Raven Boulevard. McCoy, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the Jeep Liberty did not remain at the scene of the crash. Detectives ask anyone with information pertinent to the case to contact 410-307-2020.
