Detectives assigned to the Violent Crimes Unit of the Baltimore County Police Department arrested 27-year-old Akinola D. Longe in the non-fatal shooting that occurred Sunday, January 21, 2024. Just before 9:00 p.m., officers assigned to the Baltimore County Police Department’s Dundalk Precinct responded to the 2900 block of Cornwall Rd., 21224, for a shooting. Once on scene, officers located a 40-year-old female who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body. The female was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
Longe remains held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center, charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and other firearms-related charges.
