Pedestrian Struck on Sulphur Spring Road

At approximately 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, November 2, 2023, officers responded to Sulphur Spring Road and Waelchli Avenue in Precinct 1-Wilkens following reports of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Crash Team determined the pedestrian was struck by a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 traveling westbound along Sulphur Spring Road. The pedestrian, 38-year-old Brittany Dancy, was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Dodge Ram remained at the scene. This incident remains under investigation by detectives.
