On Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10:35 p.m., officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the area of E. Cherry Hill Road and Shirley Manor Road, 21136, for a motor vehicle crash with a bicycle. Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Crash Team determined a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling along E. Cherry Hill Road and struck a bicyclist. Medics transported the operator of the bicycle, 29-year-old Jose Luis Henriquez Lemus, to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Malibu remained at the scene. Detectives with the Baltimore County Crash Team continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this crash.
