Detectives Investigate Circumstances Surrounding Shooting

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Unit are conducting an investigation into a reported shooting that occurred Monday, October 23, 2023, at approximately 10:50 p.m., in the 6400 block of Baltimore National Pike, 21228. When officers arrived on scene, they located one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Medics transported the 26-year-old male to an area hospital, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. Preliminarily, it appears this was a targeted incident.

As detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this shooting, they ask anyone with information pertinent to the case to contact 410-307-2020. Information provided by phone or online through Metro Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
