Fatal Crash Under Investigation in Cockeysville

Detectives with the Baltimore County Crash Team continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a crash that occurred on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in the area of Jarrettsville Pike and Blenheim Roads, 21131, at approximately 6:20 p.m. When detectives arrived on the scene, they determined that a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling southbound on Jarrettsville Pike when it struck a 2012 Honda Civic in the northbound lane. The operator of the 2012 Honda Civic, 33-year-old Amber Eckert, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
