Investigation Underway in Towson

The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting after a juvenile victim walked into a local hospital. Around 9:30 p.m., on August 23, officers responded to a local hospital for a call of a walk-in shooting victim after a 16-year-old male walked into the hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the upper body. Officers determined the shooting occurred in the unit block of Cedar Ave, 21286. Through their investigation, detectives concluded that this shooting was an accidental discharge. There is no active threat to the community regarding this incident.
