Baltimore County Police Department detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a homicide that occurred Saturday night in the 8600 block of Lucerne Rd., 21208. At approximately 9:20 p.m., officers from the Woodlawn Precinct responded to the scene of a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they located 49-year-old Shawn Stewart outside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. As detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident, they are asking anyone who may have information about this crime or the individual(s) who committed it to contact police at 410-307-2020. At approximately 9:20 p.m., on Saturday, July 22, detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department were called to the 8600 block of Lucerne Rd., 21133, following a reported shooting. An adult male was transported to an area hospital with a life-threatening injury. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
