Shooting Leaves One Person Injured

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Unit continue investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting at the intersection of Joppa Road and Perring Parkway, 21234. Officers responded to a reported shooting at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Once on scene, the officers located an adult woman suffering from what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. VCU detectives are actively investigating the events leading up to this incident and seeking the suspect(s) responsible.
