School Closed due to Reported Vandalism

At approximately 6:30 a.m., Monday, May 22, 2023, Baltimore County police officers assigned to Precinct 4-Pikesville responded to Northwest Academy of Health Sciences School, located in the 4600 block of Old Court Rd., following a report of vandalism on the school grounds. Preliminarily, it is believed the damage occurred after someone gained entry into the school over the weekend. As a result of the investigation and damage, classes have been canceled for the day. One person has been taken into custody following the vandalism discovered this morning at Northwest Academy. 27-year-old Matthew Parry faces several charges, including second-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, theft, and trespassing. Parry is being held without bond.
