Three Suspects Arrested in Homicide of Teen

18-year-old Bryson Butterfly is the third suspect arrested and charged in connection to the April 23 homicide of 17-year-old Elias Cieslak. On July 13, a 17-year-old juvenile suspect and 32-year-old David D. Lofton were arrested and charged. Each faces first-degree murder charges.

U.S. Marshals apprehended a third suspect today in the April 23 homicide of 17-year-old Elias Cieslak. Earlier this month, members of the Baltimore County Police Department arrested a 17-year-old and a 32-year-old for their role in this conspiracy. Each faces first-degree murder charges.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., Baltimore County police officers responded to Belair Road at Rossville Boulevard for a reported shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a juvenile male suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim, 17-year-old Elias Cieslak, was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this case. Anyone with information concerning this fatal shooting is asked to contact detectives at 410-307-2020.
