On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, 32-year-old Rahman Savage was struck by a 2003 Infiniti FX35. The crash occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m. on Liberty Road near St. Lukes Lane. The Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team has preliminarily determined the Infiniti was traveling eastbound on Liberty Road when it swerved into the westbound lane of traffic. The vehicle continued to travel eastbound over a curb where it struck Savage. The Infiniti continued to travel eastbound subsequently striking a telephone pole where it came to rest.
The pedestrian, Savage, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
This crash remains part of an open investigation.
