On February 12, 2023, at approximately 7:20 p.m., a Baltimore County Police officer who was in the area Towsontown Blvd & Washington Avenue, 21204, heard multiple gunshots and observed a vehicle drive past before crashing. Officers approached the vehicle and found an adult male driver who had sustained at least one apparent gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. Detectives later determined the victim was shot by an unknown suspect(s) at the intersection of Chesapeake & Washington Avenue.
On Monday, Baltimore County detectives filed criminal charges against the victim of the apparent shooting. This defendant has been charged with firearm-related charges, which stem from a weapon detectives discovered inside the defendant’s vehicle.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit are investigating this case and believe this was a targeted incident. They ask anyone who may have information about this case to call 410-307-2020.
