Arrest Made in Dundalk Assault

UPDATE March 15, 2023

On Tuesday, March 07, 2023, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Precinct 12 Investigative Services Team Members made an arrest in reference to this incident. The suspect is a 15-year-old juvenile, who detectives identified after utilizing local business and residential cameras to assist them.

The juvenile was charged with attempted 1st-degree homicide and 1st and 2nd-degree assault.

On Friday, January 27, 2023, at approximately 7:45 a.m., Baltimore County police officers responded to the intersection of Leeway and Yorkway (railroad tracks) about a reported first-degree assault. Detectives determined an unknown suspect armed with a knife attacked the juvenile victim from behind while the victim was walking along the tracks en route to school. Detectives with Precinct 12 continue to search for the suspect in this case.
