Investigation into Armed Carjacking

Baltimore County Police are currently investigating an incident that started in Baltimore City and ended near Goucher Boulevard and Colbury Road this afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m. The suspect traveled into Baltimore County, where he attempted to carjack one motorist in the 9200 block of Harford Road, 21234. When that attempt failed, the suspect reentered the vehicle he was using and traveled to Loch Raven Boulevard and Joppa Road, 21286, where he committed an armed carjacking. The suspect was later located near Goucher Boulevard and Colbury Road, suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department.
