Shannon Lee Potter has been missing since March 3, 1984.

Baltimore County Police are asking for the public’s help in solving the mystery of a teenaged girl who disappeared in 1984. Her name is Shannon Lee Potter and she was 13 years old when she was discovered missing on March 3, 1984. She lived in the 2300-block of Foster Avenue, 21234 in the Precinct 8/Parkville area.

Investigators have determined that Shannon left her home through a bedroom window and went to a party that night, but was not seen again.

Physical Description

At the time of her disappearance, she was described as a white female, 13 years old, 5’5” tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She had scars on her abdomen and near her left eye. Shannon may have been wearing high khaki boots and a white fur coat when she left her home.
