ABOUT THE COMMANDER

Captain Steven M. Longo began his law enforcement career as a Police Cadet with the Baltimore Police Department in 1988. While serving with the Baltimore Police Department, he was assigned to the Southeast and Southwest districts, Violent Crimes Task Force and Criminal Investigation Bureau—Drug Enforcement Section. Captain Longo joined the Baltimore County Police Department in 1999 as a member of the 108th Lateral Class. As a member of Baltimore County, Captain Longo has served in both patrol and investigative assignments in many different ranks. Captain Longo has also served as an ad-hoc member on the Dignitary Witness Protection Team and the Special Response Team. Captain Longo is a graduate of the 288th Session of the FBI National Academy.
