MAY 13: FIRST-DEGREE ASSAULT, 1700 BLOCK OF ABERDEEN RD, 21286

May 13, 2025

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on May 13, a known suspect assaulted the victim before fleeing.

MAY 12: ROBBERY, 4600 BLOCK OF PANACEA RD, 21208

May 12, 2025

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on May 12, multiple unknown suspects robbed the victim of various property with a weapon.

MAY 12: FIRST-DEGREE ASSAULT, 6100 BLOCK OF SAINT REGIS RD, 21206

May 12, 2025

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on May 12, the suspect threatened the victim with a weapon. The suspect was arrested.

ABOUT THE COMMANDER

Captain Longo.

Captain Steven M. Longo began his law enforcement career as a Police Cadet with the Baltimore Police Department in 1988. While serving with the Baltimore Police Department, he was assigned to the Southeast and Southwest districts, Violent Crimes Task Force and Criminal Investigation Bureau—Drug Enforcement Section. Captain Longo joined the Baltimore County Police Department in 1999 as a member of the 108th Lateral Class. As a member of Baltimore County, Captain Longo has served in both patrol and investigative assignments in many different ranks. Captain Longo has also served as an ad-hoc member on the Dignitary Witness Protection Team and the Special Response Team. Captain Longo is a graduate of the 288th Session of the FBI National Academy.

  • 2021—Promoted to Lieutenant and assigned to the Parkville Precinct

  • 2022—Assigned to the Internal Affairs Division

  • 2024—Promoted to Captain and assigned as the Commander of the Employment Section

  • 2025—Assigned as the Commander of the Parkville Precinct
