About the Commander

Captain Deanna Chemelli

Captain Deanna Chemelli has been a member of the Baltimore County Police Department for over 25 years. 

  • 1994—Assigned to the Vice/Narcotics Section and the Criminal Investigations Division.
  • After graduating—Assigned to the North Point Precinct where she worked as a patrol officer on the midnight shift for four years. From the rank of corporal through lieutenant, Captain Chemelli worked at numerous precincts, including Parkville, White Marsh, Essex, Towson and Woodlawn. 
  • Present—Commander of the Towson Precinct
