Health Services

The Baltimore County Department of Health offers a variety of health services for the general public and specialty groups.

Most Popular Services

Language Assistance

The Department provides language assistance services free of charge to persons with limited English proficiency.

Free Flu Shots

Each year in the fall, the Department offers free flu shots for individuals six months and older. Clinic dates are announced in late summer or early fall.

Immunizations for International Travel

Certain vaccines are recommended to protect travelers from illnesses present in other parts of the world and to prevent the importation of infectious diseases across international borders. Which vaccinations you need depends on a number of factors including:

  • Your destination
  • Whether you will be spending time in rural areas
  • The season of the year you are traveling
  • Your age and health status
  • Previous immunizations

To receive vaccines for international travel, call Passport Health at 410-727-0556 or Maryland Vaccination Services at 410-879-4977.
